New security camera video shows that the Columbus police officer who made the split-second decision to shoot 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant was justified in using lethal force.
The security camera video, obtained from a neighbor to the residence where the fatal incident took place, shows that Bryant was about to stab an unidentified ‘girl in pink.’ Watch below (graphic):
On video, you can actually hear Ma’Khia Bryant yell, “I’m gonna stab the f**k out of you, b*tch.”
This follows upon earlier released video that corroborates that the officer, who has already been doxxed but whose name won’t appear here, shot the assailant while she was armed with a deadly weapon and was attacking an unarmed civilian.
The police officer thus almost clearly saved the “girl in pink” from being stabbed. If the officer was “racist,” he would not even have risked his career to save the life of a black girl whom he didn’t know while wearing a body cam.
This didn’t stop White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, speaking on behalf of President Joe Biden, to suggest that racism was a factor in the case.
“She was a child,” Psaki said on Wednesday. “We’re thinking of her friends and family in the communities that are hurting and grieving her loss. We know that police violence disproportionately impacts black and Latino people in communities and that black women and girls, like black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence.”
Psaki was asked about the Columbus police shooting of Ma’kiyah Bryant, a teen killed while trying to stab another girl with a knife.
Psaki said Biden has been briefed on it, adding, “She was a child… Our focus is on working to address systemic racism & implicit bias head on.” pic.twitter.com/E0xdeZUvJv

This baseless racialized lens has been completely exposed. The police officer actually saved the life of the “girl in pink,” whose identity has been kept anonymous. She told police afterwards what happened.
“She f**king came at me with a knife,” the girl says. The officer asks, “She came at you with a knife earlier?” the cop asks. “No, she just did,” the girl says. “That is why, that’s why the police did it. She came after me.” “With a knife?” the cop continued. “Yeah, so he got her,” the girl replied.
There is one person who isn’t questioning the motive of the police officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant: That is the young black girl whose life very well may have been saved by the selfless actions of a hero.
