Russia has issued an aggressive statement against the United States over the imminent presence of two American warships in the Black Sea, stating that it is a “challenge and the risk of an event is great, for your own good stay away”!
Russia to US: “Take your ships from the Black Sea”
Two US warships are due to arrive in the Black Sea later this week amid escalating tensions in eastern Ukraine.
These are two Arleigh Burke class armored destroyers, loaded with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Of course, it is considered unlikely that they will be used where Russian forces are officially located, such as in Crimea, as such a thing would be a suicide act for both ships.
However, they may use them against Russian-speakers in eastern Ukraine, where Russians officially “do not exist” (as Moscow claims).
Russia “fierce”
Ryabkov called the US ship mission a “challenge.”
“The United States must understand that the risk of an event is very high. We saw something similar in a completely different sea this year. We warn the US that they would do well to stay away from the Crimea, from our shores in the Black Sea. “It is for their own good,” Ryabkov said.

The Russian deputy minister also explained that Russia protects and will continue to protect the people of eastern Ukraine, in the Donbas region, which is controlled by Russian-speaking separatists.
